Great room decoration!
I would not consider this a "toy." I bought this for in my son's room. My son loves science and wants to be a scientist one day. So, I bought him this and the poster of Einstein riding the bicycle. Both are really great! You might want to reconsider changing it from being in the "toy" category.

What? No Robert Downey Bobble-Head?
This was purchased as a companion piece to Whiplash as a gift. I tried to get one with the mask off and a Robert Downey Jr. likeness - but none exists. This had to do. It went over well, the recipient was satisfied, so I guess that's good enough. FYI: these things bobble extremely well.

This is an awesome collector's item, and I bought one for myself and my brother. However, at the NBC Universal Store they are $15.00 each. Although you have to pay for shipping (for two, it was $7.95 Ground Shipping) and tax ($2.17 for two), I still paid almost $10 less per bobblehead.

Love the movie, poor product.
One of my favorite movies and characters of all time is captured in this collection.Quality of the product is poor. There is ink splattered across the front, most likely due to them not waiting until its dry before packaging.It is so sensative that it goes off all the time. The pre-recorded 3 messages are barely understandable.Overall, this is a very poorly manufactured item, but I think the only of its kind being produced under license. Worth the $13 or so bucks, just for the kitch value. Company should be embarrased for putting out such a poorly made item!

Oh... Alan...
The product is good, and I have only two concerns that are easily overlooked.1) The base is made of cheap plastic, and not heavily weighted like some of my other bobbleheads.2) The speaker is LOUDBoth of these can be overlooked however, the "toy" sits on a shelf and I do not play with it. So the lightweight/plastic base doesn't take a beating. The speaker isn't too bad, but you can definitely hear when Alan decides to speak up. All said, If you are not going to "play" with this, and use it more as a shelf piece I would definitely recommend it.
